I'm Kim Eason, the author behind Outdoors Mastery. After spending most of my life avoiding the outdoors because of my severe allergies and asthma, I decided I wanted to explore more of it. I started with a tandem kayak to paddle my daughter around on Lake Almanor, CA after she had a surgery (I did all the paddling). I saw her love of the outdoors and I caught the outdoors fever. From participating in Cub Scouts (and then Scouts BSA) to my own adventures tracking down Big Foot (that's a story for another day), I sought out the best resources and information possible. I'm compiling that knowledge and resources in one location so you can also work towards mastering the outdoors.
